6 Little Fugues for 3 Clarinets

History and Performance Notes
Two of these fugues were written when I was in early high school, namely, #3 "Trinkets" and #5 "Random". #1 "Baubles" was done in college for a fraternity brother's girlfriend who needed some music for the Unitarian service. The three remaining ones, #2 "Upscale", #4 "Carousel", and #6 "Gewgaws" were originally their own separate set called the Stupifugue Series, and had completely different titles than these, and in French, just to be snotty. I decided to put them all together into one big book of six and give them new titles.
I really like every one of these fugues; they have wonderful exposition sections and some of them even have a little "character development", though the earliest two don't really show much maturity. Who cares, they're really fun to play for clarinettists of all ages!
I didn't write any Preludes for these fugues; preludes are harder because you actually have to have an *idea*. I have lots of partially-written or barely-started preludes that I could eventually pair up with a fugue here or there, but at this time, it's just the fugues.
